Veita J. Bland, M.D.

Dr. Veita J. Bland is in private practice in Greensboro, NC. She specializes in clinical hypertension. She is a strong voice in enabling the community to treat hypertension aggressively. Her passion lies in teaching medical students and in clinical research. In addition to being a frequent speaker on hypertension and lipid issues, she is the host of a weekly radio call-in program addressing health issues and writes a weekly health column.

Dr. Bland currently serves as an Affiliate Assistant Professor for the Department of Family Medicine at East Carolina University, Greenville, NC. A graduate of Temple Medical School in Philadelphia, PA and completing her residency at the University of Maryland, she is a Clinical Hypertension Specialist and Board Certified in Family Medicine.
